Working with ink and very few colors on a robin's egg blue paper. Turned out well considering it was an experimentation. 'Impressions' is trying to pull off showing different faces or past lives of Duo. The left side of his face, with tattoos and flowing hair is the 'evil' side he can or could have possessed. The right, with demon 'head-wing' and painted eye-lid is the mystical shinigami part of himself, which is more connected to nature and even perhaps dragons ( if the green wing with protruding claws is any hint.) Duo could, in another life, have been a prince or god, and the robes and elaborate shirt lean towards this. Then, the tattering of those garments flows into his life as a poor, orphan. Finally, the wings.... the tie in as maybe a future life as an on-looking guardian of others?
